Requirements :
- Degree (specialised) in Translation (English-Sinhala-English or English-Tamil-English) from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission. (OR)
- A Degree from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission with two (02) years experience as a translator in a recognized institution acceptable to the CBSL. (OR)
- Diploma in Translation from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission or from a recognized institution acceptable to the CBSL with four (04) years experience as a translator in a recognized institution acceptable to the CBSL.
- Applicants should be 55 years old or below as of 16th October 2024.
Employment Details :
The position is for a contract period not exceeding three (03) years. Initially, contracts will be for one (01) year and will be subject to renewal at the end of each contract year based on performance.
Salary Details :
The position offers a monthly taxable allowance of Rs. 125,000/= along with an incentive allowance for extra hours worked beyond regular office hours, and contributions to the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) & Employees’ Trust Fund (ETF).
Selection Procedure :
Appropriate candidates will be chosen through evaluation performance in a Skill Test (to assess translation and computer skills) and an interview conducted for this purpose.
