Open University Official Job Advertisement as a Operation Assistant
Job Description: Operation Assistant (on Contract)
- Position: Operation Assistant (on Contract)
- Location: Jaffna Regional Centre, The Open University of Sri Lanka
The Open University of Sri Lanka is seeking a qualified and motivated individual for the position of Operation Assistant (on Contract) at the Jaffna Regional Centre. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the center.
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of the G.C.E (O/L) Examination with six subjects in one sitting.
- Prior working experience in an office environment would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of office work and familiarity with administrative tasks.
- Ability to read and understand English documents.
- Preference will be given to applicants from the Jaffna district.
Duration of Appointment:
The initial appointment will be for six months, with the possibility of extension up to two years based on performance.
Salary:
The selected candidate will receive a fixed monthly allowance of Rs. 20,000, inclusive of the cost of living allowance (COL), and contributions for the Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) and Employees' Trust Fund (ETF).
